Description

(Rus is the second of two characters resulting from a recent dream of mine. Technically Rus and his people have human forms but I didn't wanna draw human refs right now.)

Rus is the friend of Lazo, the two of them being so close they could almost be mistaken for brothers. When their people went to war against invading enemies the two of them fought side by side. Unfortunately Lazo was hit by one of Rus's attacks during one battle. The wound wasn't enough to kill Lazo right away, but it would kill him eventually and Rus hated that he would be his friend's death. His people ended up winning the war and Rus became very popular as a war hero, not realizing he had not only started to ignore Lazo but even kept Lazo from getting any attention by keeping it on himself. When the wound finally killed Lazo, Rus still felt incredibly guilty for killing his friend so worked to bring Lazo back, not realizing that he would be bringing back an angry spirit rather than the friend he remembered. After Lazo came back he used his new stature to make it so Rus was now fading into the background to the point he almost seemed to not exist anymore, and the only way to make it stop is for Rus to earn Lazo's forgiveness.
